Here's something interesting to ponder: If Vince Young is cut by the Titans, there's a distinct possibility he'll be signed by the Texans. Many texans (citizens, not the team) wanted the Texans (now we're getting confusing) to draft Young back in 2006. With a Texans team that is once again setting itself up for missing the playoffs, signing Young could appease a lot of fans and maybe steal away some Cowboys fans (Longhorns fans still worship Young).
But that's not the most interesting part of this whole deal. If signed by the Texans, that would set up a reunion of sorts for Young and Matt Leinart. Leinart is currently the back-up QB for the Texans. If he's re-signed and Young is signed...that would mean the two QBs who squared off in the 2006 National Championship would be on the same team. Also, that would mean the Texans, who passed on both Young and Leinart in favor of Mario Williams in 2006, would possess the 1st, 3rd, and 10th picks from the 2006 NFL draft.
In a word, weird.
